It was a pleasure to hear you speak to 200 of the top business people in the South East at the recent BNI Members day at Brands Hatch. I thought you were great how you managed to cover the important subject that is finding new clients. Refining what you offer, and how you help clients, and how you can ask for referrals.
You seemed to distil the very essence that is BNI in a quiet and assured way, and your message that the answers are in the room was compelling. It certainly makes sense to target the successful clients of you close contacts. People who are already doing business with people you know, and who are already receiving an outstanding level of service and value.
As a result I have committed to going through the best of my existing clients to ask them who else would be able to help them so I can refer to them appropriately.
I have changed my sixty seconds to say what I do, who I work for, and why I am an excellent person to refer business to. I let my fellow members know just Who I am looking for.
